    Full Job Description:

    Pieminister was founded in 2003 by brothers-in-law Jon Simon and Tristan Hogg. To this day, the company continues to put great taste and quality at the heart of every pie it bakes. Our award-winning pies are made in Bristol using responsibly-sourced ingredients. We use Free Range British meat and have a selection of Vegetarian Society and Coeliac Society approved pies too, as well as our newest vegan pie which carries the trusted Vegan trademark.

    We are looking for an experienced Supply Planner who is confident translating forecasted demand into finished goods by coordinating the efficient use of internal manufacturing resources & purchased ingredients – with a high service level at the lowest possible cost. You will be planning production and stock holding of manufactured finished goods with value c.£70k and responsible for the smooth operation of our Supply planning and MRP systems. I.T. and communication devices required for the role and

    As well as fostering great relationships with colleagues at the bakery and Pieminister HQ, you will work near-seamlessly with our warehousing and logistics partner. Your reach will also extend to the sales and marketing teams who will provide insight for you to work with and develop.

    Planning and reporting will involve generation of short-term production plans – balancing efficient scheduling and cost-efficient stock holding. The successful applicant will manage changes in short term supply and communicate this appropriately.

    Essential Experience:

    • Supply Planning experience
    • Planning systems experience and excel expert
    • Data driven with attention to detail but able to zoom out to big picture and back with ease
    • Thrives under pressure
    • Strong communicator – able to summarise and convey key facts
    • FMCG experience

    Desired Experience:

    • Demand / forecasting / customer fulfilment experience
    • Experience developing and implementing new systems
    • Small business experience
    • Chilled food experience
