Why we made a gluten free pie with no grain
We're often told we make the best gluten free pies in the UK - one of them even won Supreme Champion at the British Pie Awards! They are all certified gluten free by Coeliac UK and carry their trusted Crossed Grain logo.
But we know that for some of our pie lovers, the inclusion of grain, even deglutinated grain, can be an issue. So when you asked for a grain-free pie, we listened, and the GF Moolin Rouge is the result.
What is the GF Moolin Rouge?
The GF Moolin Rouge is made by our expert pie makers in our dedicated gluten free kitchen in our hometown of Bristol. We slowcook the beef in a rich red wine gravy then bake it in our famously perfect gluten free pastry.
It's everything you want from a rich, hearty steak pie, and completely free from wheat, barley and gluten.
How we keep our gluten free pies safe
Our gluten free pies are made in a small, dedicated gluten free kitchen in Bristol. Here's how we protect that environment:
Swabbing: Everything that enters the gluten free kitchen is swabbed to confirm there is no cross contamination.
Packing: All gluten free pies are packed in the gluten free kitchen.
In our pie shops: Gluten free pies are segregated, and we use separate utensils and baking trays.
